I'm a size six and I wear a small or a medium, so I expected this to be a bit short in the skirt if anything. But the skirt is actually fine (39 inch hips) it's just the shirt/top part is stitched weirdly. the sleeves are really short, it's like they made the top for a ten year old and the skirt for a 20 year old. The top doesn't look like it would sit right on an adult body, unless you naturally have super narrow shoulders and small breasts (I measure 34 around the bust for what it's worth) It's still a cute look, but I end up always wearing the skirt on its own
