I’m a size 14 & I ordered my exact size (1X=size14). These run a size too small. I bought 4 pairs of shorts off this website, all size 14 (1X) & this is the only pair that fit a little too small. I would definitely recommend to size up 1 size. Also, If your thighs are not thick the bottom of the shorts won’t be fitted/tight.
