I first bought the 1X, and while the dress fit me, the parts that hang off the shoulder would not stay down. If I moved at all, they sprung up, ruining the look of the dress. So I ordered a 2X. The dress still fit, a little more comfortably, and the straps still popped up. I wanted to get the 3X, hoping that would solve the problem, but I thought it would be too big in the chest area, and too long for what I wanted. It was already longer than I wanted—it didn’t go mid-thigh, it was right above my knee. If I had gotten a 3X, it would have gone below my knee; and I’m 5’0, so that length of dress would’ve made my already short legs look even shorter. Anywho, I used safety pins on the front and the back to help keep the straps in place. It helped a little, I only had small safety pins. I wore this on Halloween, when I went as the devil, and I got compliments from almost every person at the party I went to. I don’t regret the purchase, I just wish the straps were sewn in a way that prevented this from happening; as I spent half the night worrying that the safety pins would pop, and the look would be ruined.

The dress is beautiful and fits perfectly on me. I cannot wait to wear this out for a date night.
