Even with thick socks these will probably still be loose. They look kind of huge and cartoonish. I would size 1/2 down.

these are so cute! you can definitely dress them up or down. i was hesitant on what size to get since I’m a 7 and sometimes a 7.5 just depends on the shoe but I got a 7 and they fit perfectly so they don’t run big . i also have wide feet and they weren’t tight at all.
