Okay let me tell you. I've purchased these shorts 4 times now. Initially I bought L because I wear L in FN pants. But I realized that I wanted them to snatch more so I bought 2 more M and they fi how I want them to. I wear it under my other pants/joggers. I tried wearing them alone in the summer and yes they are a little see through (the black ones at least) so I'll just stick to wearing them as under-pants. For reference, I'm 175lbs and 6'0. 4 stars because the more you wash it, the weaker it becomes and then it starts unraveling/tearing. For 6 bucks, I don't mind tho.
