The slit goes super high but is perfectly situated so no one gets to see your goods. I wore a lingerie to be extra sexy for date night, but the following day I wore it again to explore the town. No bra, and it actually looked and felt so much more comfortable. The pads in the dress work great. I would recommend shape wear if you have a little bit of a tummy and you don't want the world to see. No one can tell until you turn sideways...
