Smooths but doesn’t snatch or shape. Very comfortable though.

Overall I like these. It is too bad the waist is so loose. The fabric has a nice silky feel. There is not much compression, but it creates a nice smoothing effect. There is no elastic on the waistband for a smooth transition. The hip to waist ratio is a bit off in the design. They fit nicely across my hips and over my ass, but the waist is cut a bit wide, causing them to fit too loosely on my waist. As a result, they needed to be taken in at the waist for a proper fit. It was almost as if they were meant for someone who was three - four months pregnant.
