Material is nice and has a good stretch and color is beautiful. I typically wear an XL or 1XL depending on material and I am a 38GG and an XL fits. I'm 5'2 and with my 3-4inch heels it perfectly hits the floor. Slit is on the right side of leg. There are shoulder pads and in the chest area there is also padding and boning in the lining. I got the padding removed in the chest area as I did not need that but i liked the boning as it gave a good structure in the chest area. I wore this to a holiday gala. Overall a really nice dress.
