The shorts definitely look way different in picture versus in person. The fabric is a weird cheap material, which I believe attempts to makes it look somewhat distressed but actually just looks wrinkly? The waist fits true to size but because of the fabric the thigh area can be on the tight end. Carrying anything in your pockets would appear super bulky and uncomfortable. One positive is that the material is thin and light which is perfect for summer and warm weather.
