Even if you size down it won’t help. The dress is just big in general and it’s not flattering. For lounging is fine but not to go out. Save your money. I am 135lbs and I am 5’1

Purchased on a final sale, I sized up because I have 40DDD and I'm 198lb 5'3 with a mom pouch, and even though I did, it still doesn't fall over the shoulders like on the model and it has no waist definition to it, and I highly doubt that if I purchased my actual size of 2x It would have made that much of a difference its big on me! I tried it on the black one with a pair of cable knit leggings and my uggs and it gave me; grab a glass of wine, stay at home, sit by the fireplace, turn off the phone, get comfortable, and read a good book vibe (OK, maybe I don't need anymore new clothes, yeah right that's going to happen, lol.) anyway, it's cute, and oversized and thick, but depending on your style, size down 1 or 2 if you want it to fit you more like the models. I purchased the pink also, looks like the website.
