It doesn’t stretch and I’m a big hips girl so I ordered a large. The top strings do not stay in place when you adjust them.

I got this dress in my regular size which is a size XL because I had a feeling that it would fit true to size and it did. There was a bit of stretch to it but it wasn’t too much, so I am glad I did not size down. It fit my body well and it hugged my body well too. It wasn’t too tight or too loose, and my bust felt supported in the dress. My only complaint is, I wish the strings weren’t as long as it is because it’s kind of just dangling in front of the dress, but I believe it is because of the way I tied it, so I’m just going to tie it a different way and see if it looks better, or I may decide to cut the strings to a shorter length. All in all, I like the dress, and I am excited to wear it for future events. For reference, my waist is 32 to 33 inches, my bust is 42 to 43 inches, my hips are 46 to 47 inches, and my bra size is 36 J or sometimes a 38 J depending on the day lol
