They have a little stretch. I’m usually an XL so these XL fit pretty normal. I paired them with an orange graphic tee

These are a beautiful vibrant orange almost distracting. They don’t have much stretch but aren’t see through. I wear a medium and sometimes the waist is a little big in a medium for me but this medium seems a little tight in the waist. If you are in between sizes size up.
