I bought this dress as a birthday dress and it served its purpose. If you are top heavy, it can be a bit snug and can look "droopy" and you will have to keep it pulled down to get that hour glass shape. Word of caution, do not have it up by the straps as they dress is heavy and it will cause the straps to stretch. Over all great purchase.
