Looks distressed; not the look I was going for

I’ve been eyeing the shirt for a while so when it went on sale I had to grab it. Problem is, it looks like it’s been worn already. The stitching looks like it’s coming apart, it has little cotton balls on it as if it’s been washed a few times. Yea, never again.
