I purchased these boots exactly 5 years ago as part of a halloween costume. I think I paid something like $30 for them at the time, and I never really expected much out of them. However, it was one of the best clothing/shoe purchases I ever made. Over the course of the 5 years, I wore these so many times and have gotten so many compliments. They are the most comfortable pair of boots I've ever owned; maybe the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned, period. They have held up amazingly over the years and I am just now starting to have some issues with them (the strip around the soles with the studs has started to lift on both, but it's easily fixed with shoe or fabric glue). Even though they've started to show their age a bit, I still think I can get a good amount of wear out of them. They were worth every penny, and I would even buy a replacement pair if it was in stock.
