The top is very cute and is a much thicker material than what I thought it to be. So it could work for cooler nights. The strings are also pretty thick, it feels like a hard wire just decorated. I ordered a small and it fit nice except for the sleeves being too short. If you have long arms maybe a medium would work better. But otherwise it’s a cute going out top
