Decent denim material, but not so thick that it doesn't move while walking. I got a small, but the elastic was still slightly loose so I think I should have gone with a size smaller. It's nothing a belt can't fix though. Very high waisted, which is something I can't get enough of! Overall a good purchase if you wanna step away from skinny jeans and try out some new trends.

Shrunk in the wash and I did cold water and low heat dry. Also, the front pocket area/crotch area is kind of baggy and looks frumpy
