My 7 yr old daughter is 74 pounds, but she is taller and thicker than the kids in her class, so other parents may want to go a size down...pants may run a little big/wider than she would like because she such a girly girl but I washed and dried the pants and they fit perfectly. I possibly could have ordered an 8 for a better fit in pants, afraid the shirt may be too small though if I did that, but overall, I like the look. Wish I could attach a pic to show.
