If you think this will last you a few years I absolutely doubt it. I gave it a wash when I got it because it smelled of chemicals and I let it air dry . Be careful when washing because a few rhinestones came off and it’s very noticeable when you lose one. Just kinda unfortunate with it being my first fashion nova purchase
