Too big

The band on the hat is very large leaving a large gap of a few inches; there is a string to tighten fabric around your head, yet the large gap remains. Without the string the hat will fly off! The fabric is really nice, yet the tag states 60% Wool and 65% Polyester, so one of these is wrong as they should total 100% only.
