These are practical and can be dressed down. I am diligently trying to find clothing that I can lounge cute in and also go to a casual dinner. I have overwhelmed my wardrobe with UBER dress up clothing. The stretch is GREAT. I would recommend these. Go one size up if you can. If you're rather thin with a flat stomach then these fit as expected.
