Store Manager: (Northridge)


Manages sales performance of Fashion Nova retail stores by focusing on growth and profitability, customer satisfaction, visual merchandising standards, store operations, and the training and development of the store employees, personally or through subordinate supervisors.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with Human Resources to recruit, hire, develop, and retain high quality management and associates to staff store appropriately and provide for and succession planning
  • Administer performance reviews and create development plans for support staff
  • Trains, develops and provides ongoing feedback and coaching on product knowledge, selling skills, visual merchandising and delivering a superior customer experience
  • Ensures customer service is a priority at all times by conducting regular assessments, coaching and following-up with team on service standards and expectations
  • Maintains visibility on the sales floor and leads by example to create a customer-centered culture
  • Conducts business analysis
  • Effectively executes business strategy
  • Implements all visual merchandising standards, directives, promotions, and overall cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom
  • Meets or exceeds profitability expectations for the store in sales, payroll, shrink and conversion
  • Creates and executes strategies to maximize store sales and control expenses
  • Meets all payroll expectations
  • Meets all loss prevention measures
  • Executes and complies with all company policies and procedures
  • Ensures compliance of employees with established security, sales, and recordkeeping procedures and practices.
  • Answers customer's complaints or inquiries


Education and/or Experience

  • High school education or equivalent; preferred
  • Minimum two years Store manager experience with a proven track record for driving sales and profit results and training and developing a team of individuals
