It didn't give me the option for usual size to put L. I am a large in all jumpsuits but I wanted this so bad and got a 1x. The size is correct for a 1x person and has a stretch waist band. Once I tie it correctly and scrunch the middle up then tie it its perfect and big super flowy and I actually love it. 5'10 and with 4" heels its LONG.
