The top doesn't have inserts, unfortunately. Very thin feeling material. But you can adjust how wide the fabric to cover your breast's or bum. I was concerned I was gonna need a Brazilian wax but the bottoms can be adjusted wider to cover. For reference I am 5'5 135lbs 36B no bum, mom tummy. I felt comfortable in this while trying it on. Haven't worn it in the pool yet. Will update. Could have gone for a size small but unsure if that would have helped with covering my bits and pieces.
