Definitely a night out kind of fit. I was between picking a small bc I didn't want the jacket to be oversized or a medium to give me room in the shorts. I ultimately went with the medium so I can wear the shorts and so glad I did. The waist fits exactly so i'd pick your normal size or size up for extra room. The jacket isn't cropped as much since it's a medium but I just tuck the front flaps in my bra and leave the back down which is really cute. Pair it with some heels and you're in there. Love it. I'm 5'6", 32-27/28-35/36, 150 lbs.
