Granted I am a smaller large and can sometimes fit into a medium, I went with a large because I have wide hips and a big butt. Skirt was HUGE like XXL, there is a drawstring but it was still falling off of me.

I really like this set and may keep it. Although the skirt does run large, the drawstring helps it fit better. I’m 5’5”and the skirt touches the ground. I normally wear a L and this skirt fits me like an XL. I would recommend sizing down a size.
