I was hoping to use this as a beach cover up thinking it was see through but the short part is double lined and the top is not that see through like I though, you could probably wear it without a bra and be fine. So as a beach cover up, it doesn't work if you are trying to show off your swimsuit underneath. As a romper to wear out, the shorts are veeery short! It's definitely a cheeky, booty short bottom. Personally, not comfortable wearing something that short to a social event, but if that's your vibe then this romper is everything! It's true to size, looks just like the picture, and no matter what you wear it for you are gonna look sexy! For reference, I'm 5'1", 34C, 127lbs and bought an XS.
