I realized these have the adjustable waist elastic and button that H&M shorts come with for kids. Love. Perfect for growing into but still fit now also! Just like the pic. I do really recommend!

I have a 6 year old that is petite, but she is teetering between a size 5 and 6 in most items. Size 5 was still way too big on her. I’ll order a size 4 since they’re so affordable and save the 5s for when she grows into them. Super cute and good quality though!
