I have a closet full of little black dresses. I love them when they are new, and I know in a pinch I can always grab a new one to throw on for any occasion in the summer. This particular dress is basic and affordable, can be dressed up or down, and is suitable for wearing while shopping or as a layering piece under a cardigan or jacket for the office. It's not super thick, but not sheer. I would normally wear bike shorts underneath. I sized up for comfort and a more causal fit.
