you can definitely size down the skirt has a lot of stretch. only down fall is the tossels on the side fall off very easily and will def be EVERYWHERE in your house. I received sooo many wore once wash and black threads was all over my house in the washer/dryers I’m still picking them up from a week ago. gave a 3 star because of that. but the price was great
