The zipper goes in toward the waist and STICKSSS It definitely fits more than enough room to zip but it STUCK several times . I think at the waist the material is THICK KK I need it for the 4th of July I did all the zipper tricks but looks like I have to take it to a seamstress I hope I don’t end up paying the same price as the outfit to fix the zipper. We will see smh
