Got this coat on a whim and based on one reviewer saying she felt like megatron (😭) I sized waaay down. I regret that because of how I want to wear it. The medium is the right size to wear this as an over coat (5’; 175 pounds). If that’s how you want to wear it and want it to be fitted in the waist and worn open size down two sizes. You will have plenty of room in the arms and bust to wear it over bulky sweaters. If you’re planning on wearing it like a wrap dress (or you just want to be able to button it) buy your regular size. As I’m 5’ the coat is full length. Because I have a bubble butt I cannot button the 2nd or 3rd buttons. I can tie the belt but the coat stays open similar to the way it’s modeled in first photo. The denim is thin enough that you could wear this as a wrap dress and that was my plan with a long suede black top and biker shorts underneath but because I can’t close it that’s not an open. I’m going to keep the jacket and instead just do it truth a white pleather crop and legging set with a clear or nude heel.

I am 5’5, 160 pounds with a 32D cup size and a medium fit well, it a little snug at the thigh area for me when I tried to button up the entire coat but once I left that 1 button at the bottom free, it fits very nicely. The coat also looks and feels expensive so you get to enjoy it for well less money to similar coats.
