I wear my hat to protect against the sun when I run errands during lunchtime. I usually wear conservative office attire (suit with pantyhose and pumps) and lots of guys compliment me. In one day during a ten min walk, three guys complimented me and asked what kind of hat it was. Must be an old school/ old money style.
