Usually wear sizes 6-8 in pants/jeans, depending on the make. It definitely lifts butt and is comfortable after the first few wears. When I first tried it on, it couldn't zip without it being difficult to breathe (especially when bloated). Now it's bearable and comfortable, despite not having a flat belly. So just get your usual size and wear it when you know you're not gonna be bloated.
