Skirt is too small & the jacket is too big! Just horrible am so annoyed

This is a very beautiful set however the skirt run small. So if you are a size small and get get a medium. Medium should get a large but mind you the jacket is going fit more like an Xl. I go a medium and a large but decided to take a medium. The jacket fits well but the skirt is so tight. I will have to get it altered. For reference purses , I am 5’5 about 166lbs and bought a medium.
