Not big boobs friendly

I really liked the dress, but the way the chest part was made looks weird. I’m a DD cup and the top where the string is fit in the middle of my boobs. That whole part just looked weird. The rest was fine. I’m 5 1 and 150 and purchased a Medium, I normally wear large. The fit everywhere else was nice. It was short but the boob part was a no for me.
