I usually buy high waisted bikinis to hide my lower stomach fat (muffin top). I was hesitant about buying the bathing suit because its see through however the rise is perfect enough not to show the fat. I am 5'4 about 160 pounds, I wear size 8 in most stores. I carry most of my weight in my lower bottom. I got an XL but a Large would have been fine. I bought this bathing suit when I was in the high 180's and it fit just as well. I truly love this bathing suit and is definitely a statement piece.
