I can dress this down with a long tee and biker shorts or dress it up with a business professional dress /skirt. I am 5'8, 145lbs, usually wear a size 5 jeans or 27 inch waist and this belt was fine. However if you're a very curvy girl this belt may not have enough flexibility.
