I’m 5’4” 138lbs. Anytime items have good stretch i get a small. The slit isn’t really high. It comes right above my knee/mid thigh (I consider high like right below my butt so). It is stretchy and soft. If you want it to be tight, definitely size down a step or two. I sized down 1 and it fits, but still roomy.
