They definitely have zero stretch. I chose my regular size (7) and they fit perfect but pinched my waist (my weight is up a little right now, so my bad), but I do not like the muffin top look so am returning and debating on going up one size. For taller girls, I am 5'9", the length was perfect. And I do like the color.
