Missed the mark

I don’t know HOW I misjudged an article of clothing so profoundly… of all the shopping I’ve done on this site. I’m normally a large and bought a small due to all the reviews saying it runs big and… omg…. The size small is the equivalent of an XL. The fabric? What is this fabric? Like wool with a white ribbon trim that is distressed. I obsessed over the picture and idea of this coat only to be wildly disappointed by its actuality and fit.
