So, I am generally a pear shape and was taking a risk with this dress since the last two dress I bought required sizing down. The top portion fit amazingly once I figure out the straps (which are a little flimsy). If you a heavy, busty gal you need scaffolding underneath to alleviate the pressure off the straps. Otherwise, they will look like they're struggling and straining. The bottom portion is the issue here but it's due to my pear shape not really the dress. The material has good give but the dress does not settle over the curves nicely. Shape wear helps but with the placement of the split it's awkward. The size up would have left me with a huge issue with the top. If you are an apple then you're good (see note about straps above). Your legs will look amazing.
