I normally wear a size L (5’6, 178 lbs) and these were way too small. I barely got them over my knees. Gave them to my friend who wears a size small and they fit her perfectly. If I were to order again I’d get a 1X.

I purchased these in a small and medium and when I received them I couldn't fit either, they wouldn't go past my above my knee. 2 different sizes that fit as though they were the same size. I would suggest going a size up from your original size.
