Looks like it would be "flowy" but it is very fitted. Still has the movement to it while dancing, just has a tight fit underneath. I'm 5'7'' /144 lbs and I felt that my torso was too long for this dress. I gave it to my sister, she shorter and weighs a little less. Very true to the picture, just didn't love the fit on me.
