Is shorties never win but these have a drawer string so they can be shorted. They are super long. They are also narrow waisted so size up 2 sizes if you are thicker in the middle. The color is nice and they look like quality pants.

I normally wear a 10-12 bottom depending on the amount of stretch. I’m 185, 5’4”. Think I’m the waist. Butt and thighs with no hips. These were tight in the waist the thigh area has a little room and are not clinging there. I can make them work with my girdle but the plan was to wear a tank with these. If I go bigger they will be way longer and they are already too long. However, there is a diagonal drawstring at the bottom of the pants so THEY CAN BE SHORTENED! I can wear them with a baggy t shirt but because I’m already short I tent to prefer wearing tighter tops with baggy pants and visa versa for balance. A tighter top will show muffin top if I’m not wearing my girdle. Also, they feel low rise. If I pull them up to wear I feel comfortable, I feel like I have a weggy! I wish short girls were considered more when it comes to pants on here!! I think I will keep them and try to make them work because sizing up for the waist will be a different problem! I don’t think this review will help anyone but more thin waisted women but if you have a mid section, size up 2 sizes and use the draw string to shorten them. Despite this review seeming complicated, these ARE cute pants! And if you’re short, you already know. So I think I’m keeping them.
