Order your normal size. I'm a pretty solid size 14. This XL was too big. Even though the top was way too big on me, I had to wear it anyway to the mayor's party. (I put inserts in my bra to lift up my girls) Anyway, the straps i wore on my shoulders not like the picture. The top bunched with the straps down for some reason. And for my 6ft ladies it did reach the ground for me. I even wore heels and looked great.
