40DD got an XL (normal size) and it fit perfectly fine w/o a bra. Satin like material. May have even been able to size down because the straps allow for adjusting. I like how it fits but the color is definitely not ivory. More like a pale blush which I didn't want but maybe I'll dye it or try to remove the color. Overall its cute.
