I bought a size large because I love oversized jackets, 5'7 160 pounds (bottom heavy). It's extremely comfortable and very warm because of the lining inside. It wears nicely in the style I want, but you can definitely buy a Medium if you're similar to my size. This jacket has quickly become my go-to jacket when just going to the store and doing every day things outside.
