I went based on my measurements, which have worked for other Fashion Nova pants, but not these. I couldn't even get them all the way up my thighs. I could get a larger size but I'm really not sure if going up a size (and it only goes up to XL) would be a good fit. I think I'll try a different style than these. I think they would be cute if they fit but they run really small so keep that in mind if you buy.
