To keep the string from digging into your back rolls or your skin you need a slim and muscular back. Otherwise it makes you look like a sausage back there. The waist area is a bit unflattering too and I have a tight stomach. Overall, the slimmer, tighter you are the better the dress will fit you. I had to return it. Not bad but only for certain body types.
